BWA World Congress Resolution 1939.4

This assembly of the Baptist World Alliance declares that the sale and use of intoxicants increase crime, waste national resources, corrupt social habits, and are inimical to the welfare of individuals and of society, and should therefore be brought to an end. It calls upon all Baptists by personal example and temperance education to do everything within their power to rid the world of this evil.
