Duro Ayanrinola is an ordained Baptist Minister and a Doctor of Missiology (D.Miss) graduate from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (USA).

Before becoming the General Secretary/CEO of All Africa Baptist Fellowship (AABF) in 2012, he served as the first Nigerian Baptist Missionary to Sierra Leone (1984–1992); Associate Director of the Global Missions Board (2000–2004), and Director of the Missionary Organization’s Department of the Convention (2004– 2011).

He is passionate about the preaching of the true Gospel, discipleship, and missions. He is also interested in empowering and supporting leaders in carrying out their ministry assignments faithfully.

Duro is married to his darling wife, Comfort, and they are blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren.

At the time of his election as APBF General Secretary in 2017, Tetseo was co-lead pastor of the Okinawa Daiichi Baptist Church in Okinawa, Japan. He is also the founder and director of Live to Worship Ministries International, which conducts workshops for worship, music, and leadership for churches in Asia.

He has had longstanding involvement in Baptist life globally. Since 2010, he has been vice president of the BWA Youth Department and president of Asia Pacific Baptist Youth. He was worship band leader during the BWA-planned Baptist Youth World Conference in Singapore in July 2013, for which he composed the theme song, “Reach.” His band also led worship and he composed theme songs for APBF Congresses in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2006; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2012; and Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2017.

Born in Nagaland State in Northeast India, Tetseo studied English Literature at the Baptist College in Kohima, Nagaland; earned a master’s degree in church music at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary in Baguio City, Philippines; and completed a doctoral degree in worship studies with the Asia Baptist Graduate Theological Seminary.

After pastoral and teaching assignments in the Philippines, he moved to Japan in 2001 to become a music teacher at Okinawa Christian School International, where he also served on its board. He became actively involved in Baptist life in Okinawa, serving as chair of the Okinawa Baptist Convention Music Committee and member of the convention’s World Mission Committee.

Tetseo has written or co-authored three books on worship and youth ministry as well as recording and producing several musical CDs.

He is married to Ai Nohara and they have three sons: Levito, Kozo, and Setsuri.

Caribbean Baptist Fellowship

Serving as the senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Montego Bay, Jamaica, from 2005-2020, Everton Jackson has also filled numerous ministry positions at the local, national, and international level.

He has served as BWA Regional Secretary / Executive Secretary & Treasurer for the Caribbean Baptist Fellowship since 2010 with previous service as President of the Jamaica Baptist Union (JBU) from 2000-2002, JBU Vice President from 1998-2000, and Director of the JBU Mission Agency (JBUMA) from 1994-1998. He has also served as Chairman of the Peace Management Initiative from 2005-2020 and as a Commissioner on the Jamaican government’s Commission on Violence Prevention from 2009-2020.

Tony Peck is a British Baptist Minister. He was educated at the Universities of London and Oxford and has served as the minister of a local church, a Regional Minister, and as a Baptist College Tutor. Since 2004, he has been the General Secretary of the European Baptist Federation (EBF). He has led the EBF in a period of sustained growth and development.

Tony’s personal Christian journey started through the work of Scripture Union on Scotland, where he was raised. He is passionate about Baptist churches in the EBF region deeply engaging in the holistic mission of God within their communities. Another deep commitment is to the Baptist understanding of religious freedom for all. Tony has published several articles and book chapters on religious freedom and human rights from a Baptist and biblical perspective.

Tony’s involvement with the BWA began with the BWA Youth Conference in 1988.  Since then he has served on various BWA Committees and Commissions, and from 2020-25 will serve as the Chair of the BWA Commission on Religious Freedom.

North American Baptist Fellowship

In addition to serving as the Executive Minister for Canadian Baptists of Western Canada, Jeremy Bell has served as the General Secretary of the North American Baptist Fellowship since 2018.

Bell is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California (USA), and Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada).

He is an ordained minister of the Baptist Union of Western Canada and founding pastor of Kitsilano Christian Community Church in Vancouver. He has also served as a minister at First Baptist Church in Vancouver and as chaplain and residential dean at Carey Hall in Vancouver.

Dr. Parrish Jácome Hernández of Ecuador serves as Executive Director of the Union of Baptists in Latin America (UBLA), one of the six regional fellowships of the BWA. In addition, he is the Academic Dean of the Baptist Theological Seminary of Ecuador and the Pastor of Israel Baptist Church in Guayaquil. 

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Theology, a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies, and a Doctor in Theology with an emphasis in Urban Ministries. 

Jácome is also the author of the books: Dialogues with God; Cry for the Family; Baptist Preaching in the 21st Century; and City, Church, and Community as well as various theological articles for magazines and academic spaces. He has also participated in various theological education forums in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He is married to Toyi and they share three children: Gerald, Parrish André, and Ana Belen.
