Affirmation of Resolutions Adopted by the General Council of the Baptist World Alliance

During the past quinquennium, the General Council of the Baptist World Alliance has at each of its annual meetings adopted a series of resolutions dealing with the circumstances which seemed to be more important that year, and

Some of the concerns and prayerful hopes expressed in those resolutions have seen changes in the circumstances which demonstrate that God has answered prayers expressed by the faithful around the world, now

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Baptist World Congress, meeting in Seoul Korea, August 13- 18, 1990, that the resolutions adopted by the General Council during this quinquennium by acknowledged by this Congress and that we join our hearts and voices in prayer that God’s will be done in the world as we continue our struggle for a positive Christian witness.
